Sky Camera

The sky-camera is a small, lightweight; easy to operate real digital camera setup with 2-pi sr field of view. It is controlled by a PC or PC-Notebook. The housing of the camera is designed for a per?manent use in the atmosphere. As an option it is heated and temperature controlled. The optical resolution can be set from 640 * 480 pixels to 2048 * 1536 pixels or higher depending on the type of camera installed. The software runs under WIN98 and XP. Picture can be taken in two modes:

• Continuous: The frequency ranges from ca. 15 seconds to hours. Time-steps as well as start and stop-time are set in a configuration file.
• Triggered by an external program

The skycam-program is up-dated to remotely control new Canon Cameras: Powershot A620 and all digital EOS cameras.
